ABOUT US
WOTW: A Brief History
Founded in 2023 by a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Warriors of the Wind Foundation (WOTW) is a 501(c)(3), subcategorized as a 509(a)(2) publicly-funded nonprofit organization (EIN 99-0547679). We are passionately dedicated to enriching the lives of American veterans and first responders. Led by a board of accomplished professionals and veterans from every branch of service, WOTW is committed to transparency, patriotism, and direct action. We are the boots on the ground of the suicide prevention and veteran wellness world. Utilizing our vast network of veteran-focused motorcycle groups we actively seek out veterans in crisis to get them the help they need. Our founder calls us 'a suicide prevention quick reaction force'.

What began as a YouTube channel combining motorcycle rides, meditative music, and book readings quickly grew into a nationwide movement. After a life-changing challenge between two Iraq War veterans to create a documentary on veteran suicide prevention, WOTW was born with a bold mission: build a nationwide network of healing through motorcycles, media, and meaningful connections.
Rather than focusing on suicide, WOTW promotes health, wellness, and purpose through camaraderie, storytelling, and motorcycling.
Our vision includes:
-
A national battalion of 500 veteran motorcyclists
-
Five Warrior Ranches providing housing and reintegration support for homeless veterans
-
A growing media platform to share stories of recovery, filmed and led by veterans
We're actively seeking corporate sponsors and individual donors to help expand our mission. One simple way to support us for free: subscribe to our YouTube channel YouTube.com/@warriorsotwind and help us grow our reach. The same applies to our Facebook group - Facebook.com/warriorsofthewind23.
