WOTW Blog #006 - THANK YOU TO VIKING BAGS!

As a nonprofit founder and leader there are many, many days where I feel 'stuck'. The biggest reason for this is lack of financial support from surrounding communities to help us keep going. We get a lot of 'Good job, love what you guys are doing!' and 'Keep up the great work!' The reality is our biggest donors are founders and direct relatives. Without community financial support the 'Good job!' really doesn't help much. Most days it feels like lip service.

Running a nonprofit is a journey and a test of willpower and sticktoitiveness. A mental marathon to the max. This is not intended to be a negative post. This is a REALITY post and a THANK YOU post.

When someone goes out of their way to say, 'We love what you're doing and want to do something tangible to help you keep going.'... THIS is the kind of help we need.
